Impact analysis
The city will owe a salary and benefits package—plus possible relocation costs—for the new manager, though the source doesn’t specify the dollar amount.
Residents and council members who want fresh outside management experience could benefit if the new manager improves City Hall operations.
Local candidates or city staff who wanted the job may feel passed over, but no broad group is clearly harmed by the appointment.
